Good Morning Everyone!!! If you are joining me from Debbie's blog then you are right on track. If you randomly came across this hop click HERE to visit Lisa and start at the beginning. I am super excited to take part in my very FIRST Blog Hop!!! Who could stop at one project?? My first project is a card for the lovely Lisa our hostess of the hop. Happy Birthday Lisa!
I've been itching to use my newest Cricut Cartridge 3 Bird's on Parade. It came in the mail last week as part of a buy 2 get 1 free promotion between Michaels and Provo Craft. Isn't this little birdie just the cutest. I also broke open a pack of animal print Recollections Cardstock I picked up on sale a while ago.
I made these next projects for my Daughter's 1st Birthday Party in June. I decided to go with a Teddy Bear's Picnic theme.
These are the invites and party hats I made with the help of my Gypsy. The party hats are from the Elmo's Party cartridge and the Teddy Bears are from the Sugar and Spice cartridge. Faces were stamped using PKS Critter Faces set. I added some dimension to the little bows with some organza ribbon I got from Walmart. Keeping with the picnic theme the lyrics to The Teddy Bear's Picnic song are printed out on the inside. I am in love with these invites and decided to enter them in the Whimsical Wednesday Take Shape Challenge for shaped cards.
And now for the icing on the cake. Some Blog Candy! I will be drawing for this fun treat.
The Happy Birthday 2U Paper Pad and Embellishments from K and Co.
For a chance to win leave me a comment and a way to get a hold of you if you win. You don't need to be a follower to win, but I would love it if you joined me here at Creative Tree. I will randomly pick a winner May 26th at 10:00 am MST so there will be plenty of time to enter.
Now continue on to the very talented Emily. Happy Hopping Everyone, and Happy Victoria Day to all you Canadians out there.
Good afternoon. While doing some blog exploring I came across this fun Back to Basics challenge at the Whimsical Wednesday Blog. The challenge was to make a Cricutless project and to include an old school embellishment. Here is a card I made for a Bridal Shower on the Weekend.
Stamps and paper is CTMH. The tag punch is from Creative Memories. The old school embellishment I chose is the fiber strands, also made by (but I think now discontinued ) CTMH.
Hey there fellow scrappers. I would just like to send out special hooray to my sister Jen who recently won an E2. Can't wait to take that baby for a test drive. Heres a card I made for Throwback Thursday over at Emma's blog My Creative Time. For this Throwback Thursday Challenge we were to use the Doodlecharms cartridge and include the color blue in our project.
The popcicle was cut @ 4 ". The patterned paper is by CTMH. Hope you like it.
Hello here is a photo of this weeks trigger in Moxie Fab World. We were to use it to inspire a paper carft project of out choice.
This pleated skirt reminded me of some paper i knew I had some where in my stash. I had to look through a few bins but i finally managed to find where I had filed it away. It would appear not as great a match as first thought.
Here is the card triggered by this photo.
I folded some paper along the bottom edge of the card trying to mimic the skirt pleats. The Cake was cut from Smiley Cards digital cartridge. Hope you like it. I just love to take part in these challenges when I have the time. They are really fun. You should play along.
Boy oh boy it's down to the wire, only 15 mins until the deadline. I will just sneak all the projects in being this is #12!! I can't believe it. Thank you My Pink Stamper for host such an awesome string of challenges. Well challenge twelve was to make a project with a kids theme. Easy for me Every page I do it about my little girl.
I saw this paper pack at Walmart a while back in 8X8 size, I was always hoping I would find it in 12X12 but never have. I had to settle and get the 8X8. Banner cut using Country Life, Font is from Nate's ABC's.
I just had a good little chuckle when link my last project to MPS, heres my project with a turkey on it along side everyone elses high heels and buttleflies. lol I guess I have a twisted vision of glam. Challenge ten at MPS was to make a project with a pet in it.
If you haven't noticed all the pages I do these days are about my daughter. I lust love this stamped image by CTMH.
Few I am tired of posting but t he end is near. MPS Challenge #9 was to make a project with Glitz, Glam or Glitter.
I love these pictures of my daughter in the leaves and I love this Glittery paper I picked up at Michaels last October the same day I took the pictures ( In Canada Thanks Giving is in October). It's nice to finally complete so projects that I have had in my head for months. The little Characters are from Simply Charmed the tittle is from CTMH.
This picture is one of the first time my daughter smiled for the camera last July. Most of the paper is by CTMH the rest is from my stash. The sun was cut using the Cricut Classic Font cartridge and the word smile is from the Robotz cartridge.
The 6th Challenge for National Scrapbooking Day at My Pink Stamperwas to make a Layout. I think this turned out really cute I tryed to make all the animals match the ones on the mobile in the pictures.
For this page I used a scalopped border punch for the tittle piece. The tittle was cut using the tie the Knot Cartridge. The animals are from the Create-a-Critter Cartridge. I used the gypsy to remove there facial features and then stamper on the PKS critter faces.
I've nearly finished all the My Pink Stamper National Scrapbooking Day Challenges. My keyboard wasn't working last night so this moring it's time to post, post, post. Challenge #5 was to make a project that included a tag.
The Vellum Tag was made with the Creative Memories Tag punch. Wording is From the Lyrical Letters cartridge.
I am nearing the halfway mark for My Pink Stampers 12 challenges to celebrate National Scrapbooking Day. Challenge # 5 was to make a 3-D object. I have been shuffling this wooden recipe box around my craft supplies for months, maybe even year come to think of it. Finally some motivation to get it done.
Apron is cut from the Country life Cartridge. Tabs are from Base Camp. Font from Cupcake Lite.
Ok, so i'm a little out of order but it appears that I forgot to take a picture of project # 3 and am about to turn in for the night so i will have to get to it in the morning. project #4 at My Pink Stamper was all about Mom, fitting for Mother's day weekend. I hadn't made card for my Mother in law yet so it was the perfect opportunity. Her favorite color is purple, she doesn't scrapbook at all so I decided to dazzle her with a surprise pop-up card.
The pitcher is from the Kate's ABC's cartridge, my newest and I have to same most favorite cartridge. Splitcoast Stampers has a great tutorial on making these cards. I have to check it almost every time i make one. If you haven't made one and would like to learn click HERE.
Another post so soon can you believe it. The second challenge of the day at My Pink Stamper was to make a project using Kraft cardstock. I chose to make a Father's Day card for my wonderful husband to is an amazing father to our 11 month old daughter.
The sentiment, little fish and pole are cut from the Simply Charmed cartridge. The Kraft cardstock I selected is Ashville Kraft Rings- made by Scenic Route.
It's been so long since I have posted a project on my Blog. So I will start a series of many off with this fun card for the My Pink Stamper national scrapbooking day challenges. We were to make a project featuring a cupecake. Hope you like it.
The cupcake was cut using the Celebrations cartridge and the sentiment is a Stampin' Up stamp.
